My designs show a different side of me, here I have written down all my designs to date. The designs started around 2004, three years after I came to the United States. What I believe this blessing to be was a way out in coping in a new environment out of my love for my home country. I came to the States in 2001, and I couldn’t make new friends, I missed my old ones, I couldn’t bear the loneliness, my hands turned to drawing and my heart found peace.
The designs started small and over the years, they blossomed into beautiful things. The days I felt down and lonely, depressed and unhappy, with a pencil in my hand, I was able to put down all my sorrows on paper. Whatever came out of it however became my masterpieces. Sometimes I would speed up a design to see it finished. The joy and peace I got from completing a design was so fulfilling. There are almost 300 designs now and my goal is 400 before the end of the year.
